Grand Prairie starting pitcher Cody Crowell allowed three runs on eight hits
while striking out five in eight innings of work to lead the AirHogs past
Wichita on the road. With the win, Crowell ran his mark to 9-5 on the
season. Grand Prairie 3B Cesar Nicolas was 2-for-3 with three RBI to lead
the offensive effort. CF Drew Holder also pitched in with a 3-for-4 effort
in which he scored twice. AirHogs closer James Morrison retired the side in
order in the ninth inning to earn his 20th save.
