Hey AirHogs Fans!
As you know, we are HOGS FOR A CAUSE --- and in light of that, wouldn't you know that GM Dave Burke shipped me off to Guatamala for a week to assist with the Habitat For Humanity Global Village Program!
It was a blast!
This was my fourth international Habitat For Humanity adventure and I can assure you its a fantastic cause!
From November 21-29, I joined 14 other individuals from all over the United States in a two-home build in the village of San Lucas Toliman on Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. From mixing concrete to laying blocks, cutting rebar, and shoveling dirt, we all contributed to the construction of the homes, and formed great relationships with both the HFH-benefit-families and the local masons.
In addition to some hard labor, I also experienced my first earthquake, played a ton of futbol with the locals, and spent a wonderful Thanksgiving eating tortillas!
Here is a link to some of my photos!
