Grand Prairie, TX. The Grand Prairie AirHogs launched a fundraising campaign today for the American Red Cross relief effort in Haiti, following the tragic earthquake which took place this week.
As part of the organization’s “Hogs for a Cause” initiative, the AirHogs have entitled their Monday, May 17th home game: “Haitian Earthquake Relief Night.” Tickets will go on-sale Friday, January 15th at 9 a.m. with $4 from each box seat ticket purchase benefiting the American Red Cross relief effort in Haiti.
Proceeds will be donated during the May 17, 2010 AirHogs game vs. Sioux City Explorers at QuikTrip Park. Fans will also be encouraged to bring disaster relief items during the 2010 Opening Weekend (May 14-16) which will also be donated to Haitian Earthquake relief efforts. For every item donated by AirHogs fans, they will receive a voucher good for one box seat to a future AirHogs game.
