The David Stein Show, "A Celebration of Life Through Sports," has broken the boundaries of traditional sports talk radio. The show transforms the lives of people across the country and around the world through a unique approach to issues affecting the world of sports and how those issues affect our lives.

"A Celebration of Life Though Sports" is heard on over 100 radio stations, including The Score in Chicago, The Ticket in Dallas, KILT in Houston, 97.1 FM in Detroit, 106.7 FM in Washington DC and 790 The Zone in Atlanta, where David hosts the show.

David starts each call by asking friends of the show to "tell me something good about your life." Every show is created to bring out the best in people by encouraging folks to pay it forward, perform random acts of kindness and to get off the bench and onto the court. Sports, as David shares, is "just a way to get family, friends and sometimes strangers together."

The 2009 Sports Calendar Challenge on the show encourages everyone to take bad habits and addictions out of their lives. As David says often on the show - "We have two things in common: We love sports and we have hearts."

David has two cats (Seve' and Vester) and is one cat away from being the "creepy cat guy," and he has an unhealthy relationship, bordering on idolotry, of Tiger Woods and The West Wing.

The David Stein Show can be heard 2-6 AM EST on Sporting News Radio and Sirius Channel 127, or listen to the FREE podcasts at itunes and www.sportingnews.com. Contact David personally at davidstein@sportingnews.com.
