2B Luis Guance was the man of the hour for Pensacola as his single in the bottom of the 10th inning drove in two and capped a five run rally as the Pelicans defeated Grand Prairie 10-9.

The AirHogs fell short twice on Wednesday with a final score of 4-2 in both games versus the Shreveport-Bossier Captains. A new record attendance was set at QuikTrip Park, with 6,475 schoolchildren on hand for the 10:35 a.m. Game 1. In the first game of a Wednesday double-header, the AirHogs lost one late falling behind after a three-run sixth.

Grand Prairie, TX. The Grand Prairie AirHogs announce the signing of former Texas Ranger pitcher, Pat Mahomes. Mahomes, 6’4, 220lbs, 38 yrs., will get the start at Wednesday’s early start 10:35 a.m. game against the Shreveport Bossier Captains, in front of a sold-out crowd for the AirHogs’ second annual “School Day” game.

After an extended rain delay, Tuesday's 7:05 p.m. game was postponed due to weather. Wednesday will feature a double-header starting at 10:35 a.m. and Game 2 will start approximately 30 minutes after Game 1 ends. Gates open at 9:30 a.m.
