Bio
Morales, was limited to just 10 games in the 2008 season due to injury. He split the season amongst three teams in the Washington Nationals’ system, starting the year at Double-A Harrisburg and appearing in one game before going to the Gulf Coast League Nationals for two games and then appearing in seven games with Potomac in the Carolina League. In 2007, he was in 16 games with Harrisburg and posted a 3-2 record with a 3.04 ERA. He was promoted to Triple-A Columbus where he was 1-1 with a 6.91 ERA in 12 games. Morales’ best year came with Potomac in 2006 when he was 3-2 with a sparkling 2.17 ERA in 32 relief appearances. After starting his professional career with the Joliet Jackhammers in the Northern League in 2003, he was signed by the Expos and assigned to their Gulf Coast League team in July of that year.
Morales joins the AirHogs after beginning the 2009 season with the cross-town rival Fort Worth Cats.
