Bio
The 6'1, 181 lb., Camareno played at Western Oklahoma State during the 2009 season after pitching in his native Cuba for Holguin for eight seasons. In the 2008 Series Nacionales he went 4-2 with a team high 5 saves. In the 81 innings that he pitched, opponents only batted .222 against him while he kept his ERA at a slim 3.22. Camareno played on the ""Selection Oriental" of the "Super Liga" and in the "Olimpiada De Deporte Cubana." For Western Oklahoma this season, he went 11-4 and led the team in starts (15), complete games (6) and shutouts (3). He also tallied 82 strikeouts and played in the NJCAA Junior College World Series Div II and made both the Junior College Region II Division II Baseball All Region Team, and Junior College Region II Division II All Tournament Team.
