The AirHogs got a great start from Travis Ballew in the final home game of the season but unfortunately the AirHogs bats could only muster 2 runs in the final home game of the season, falling to Kansas City 3-2.

The AirHogs fell behind in the 3rd inning 2-0 after the first 2 batters of the inning reached. Then Daniel Nava, and Mason Davis would both single, bringing home 2 runs.

The AirHogs answered in the 4th inning, plating 2 unearned using a throwing error from starting pitcher TJ House and an RBI groundout from Stephen Haviar.

Pete Perez entered the game in the 6th inning with the score tied 2-2. Unfortunately an RBI double from Dylan Tice put the T-bones on top for good 3-2.

Trevor Simms had a crazy 8th inning, loading the bases with no outs, before striking out Romano and Tice before inducing a flyout from Gillaspie to end the inning, allowing no runs. Carlos Contreras worked a scoreless ninth but in the end the AirHogs could not get the tying runs across, falling 3-2.

The AirHogs are off Friday before taking on the Milkmen in a 3 game series, the final of the year. Saturdays game is a 6:05 first pitch. The AirHogs will throw RHP Zhang Tao. Milwaukee is TBD.
